All our gates and railings are sold
in either grey or red primer. Extra charge will be incurred if a
top coat, or undercoat and top coats are required.
We suggest, if the ultimate protection is required, that all steelwork
is galvanised prior to painting. |

 |
|
| Galvanising is a molten
zinc coating which then forms part of the steel and gets into even
the smallest cracks. The steelwork is dipped prior to galvanising
into hydrochloric acid to clean the steel and remove any grease,
dirt or rust. After galvanising, even if the paint is chipped, the
steelwork will not rust, as opposed to primer gloss. |
